Adorable!The next few pictures are of the Occum Pond Party that takes place in our friend's yard on a pond near Dartmouth. It is part of the Dartmouth winter carnival. You may not believe but there was a pretty big thaw the week leading up to it but thankfully it was a huge success! It took place on Valentine's Day so we had a fun family day that started with Kate's ski lessons (sorry, no pictures, I forgot the camera) and then to the pond party.
Yes, that is half the town of Hanover.
There's the other half. There are ice castles, sledding/tubing tracks, ice sculptures and many games for adults and kiddos.

Kate got new paints for her easel for Valentine's Day.

The snow tunneling continued this month and you can now go in 4 openings.
Here are two of them on the walkway. One goes all the way across and the other you have to make a left turn to go down the "hallway" to a snow fort at the edge of the driveway.
