December 2009

December 2009 - This month was filled with snow and a great Swenson family Christmas in New Hampshire.

Kate is enjoying the first snow of the year! She loves the snow almost as much as her Mom!

LOVING the snow!!!

Kate and Sadie out shoveling the walk.

Sarah just being cute!

Kate and her favorite animal, Doggie.

We went on the Polar Express train trip one more time since we do not foresee snow being so close in the near future. Kate loved it and we had a good time with snowing falling outside.

Sarah even enjoyed the Polar Express.

Our church does a children's Christmas Pageant and Kate was an angel.

The whole Swenson family came for Christmas and here are Sarah and Megan in matching PJ's. Megan LOVED baby Sarah.

Kate loved Christmas with all the relateves and cousins especially. Here she is opening her stocking.

Mom had to help Sarah with her stocking. I'm not sure she was real impressed.

Kate and Dustin with the Snowman in our yard! It lasted for about a month and then fell over backwards in its melting process.

Kate and her favorite animals all posed for the picture.

November 2009

November 2009 - OK, I know I have not posted in a LONG time when I start with Halloween. Yikes! Better late than never. So it is really a LATE October.

Kate was Piglet for Halloween and loved it. Wouldn't you know it was actually very warm that night even here in New Hampshire and I thought how nice and warm the fleece Piglet would be.

Kate decided that Sarah was Pooh and she did have some Pooh clothes on but I thought it was cute that she wanted her costume to go with Sarah's.

Our girls looking cute!

Sarah at 5 1/2 months.
We then made a trip to Washington because Aaron was working out there for 4 weeks. We started with Kate's 4th birthday at my parent's condo while Aaron got an elk. Way to go! Our freezer is now full, well it will be after we move and get the meat!

Kate enjoyed the early snow in the mountains!

There she is...sorry for those that don't like such graffic pictures but for those that do, she was a big one!

Sorry, no way to turn this picture BUT...you can see Aaron smiling with the cow elk!

Dad and Aaron. Aaron also hunted with his father as well and everyone worked long and hard to get her off the mountain.

Grandpa and Kate playing.
Sarah, figuring it all out!

Kate on her 4th Birthday!

Grandpa & Grandma Swenson with the girls and Freckles of course.

Daddy holding his little girl.

The girls and I then headed to the Washington Coast with Grandma & Grandpa Hansen. Kate loves the ocean, playing in the sand and running.

There is quite the sand village creation all around Kate. Very creative.

Grnadpa and Sarah.

We had a birthday part for Kate at Uncle Joel & Auntie Shelley's home with her cousins Troy & Megan and a few friends. She loved it!

The pinata was a hit!

Birthday Girl!

Meaghan Kelly and her two little ones, Selah and Noel, along with Kate, Sarah and Tina.

The cousins.

We headed for a very quick trip down to Portland area to see the Doerr family and meet their newest addition, Tori.

Tina and I with our girls.

We spent another Thanksgiving with my brother and his extended family in Boston.

Our Thanksgiving weekend annual Christmas tree hunt did not have snow but it was cold and we found a great tree!
